Overview
All around the world, donors are becoming more careful about whom they support. More than ever before, they want civil society organizations to be trustworthy, organized, and professional. For the good of the people they serve, the staff and board of directors of CSOs must be engaged and knowledgeable--not only about their programs, but about working with donors.

The Global Fund Raising Advisory has been helping CSOs in this way since 1995. Focusing on developing and transition countries, we advise large and small groups about how to organize themselves for fund raising, draw up sound strategies, and make clear presentations, orally and in print. We work with them to target the local and international donors whose interests coincide with the CSO's activities.
